I will show and sell my work alongside 80+ fellow potters: studio artists and students. You will find a great variety of functional and sculptural clay work at Mudflat. Everyone is invited. There will be a festive opening Friday 6–10pm.

This will be my last sale at Mudflat, as I will be leaving this studio by the end of May. I will be moving out of state.

The annual Asparagus Valley Pottery Trail is a tour of eight studios with 30+ nationally recognized potters. Easily reached from Boston, Hartford, and the Albany area, the free, self-guided tour winds along the beautiful back roads and scenic historic towns of the Asparagus Valley, a local name for the upper Connecticut River valley of western Massachusetts. The Pottery Trail celebrates the rich agricultural history and cultural vitality of the area, as well as the longstanding connection between pottery and food.

Mudflat's Open Studio and Sales, held every May and December, showcase the ceramic art work of our studio artists, faculty, and students. These events provide an opportunity for friends, family, and the public to visit Mudflat to view an exceptional variety of functional and sculptural claywork.

Many of our artists donate pottery and sculpture for a raffle to benefit Mudflat's Scholarship Fund - you select which pieces you'd like to win! Artists also donate one-of-a-kind pots to be sold to benefit the NEW! Mudflat Equipment Fund; 100% of the purchase price of these pottery pieces goes directly to that fund.  Here’s your opportunity to purchase a beautiful handmade work of art and support Mudflat, all at the same time.

A portion of the revenues from this sale, as well as the scholarship raffle and Equipment Fund donations, benefit Mudflat. Admission to this event is free and wheelchair accessible.
